FNTPs use a deep foundational and bio-individual approach to functional, holistic nutrition. This helps in balancing the body’s chemistry, physiology and achieve optimal health, fitness, and wellness.
What skills and tools does an FNTP possess?
1. FNTP evaluates the nutritional imbalances and deficiencies at both the body system and organ level that are unique to a specific client and creates a tailored set of recommendations designed to support that client's health, fitness, and wellness goals.
2. FNTP evaluates and prescribes bio-individualized supplemental routine that may aid in healing, detoxification, and improving physical performance and wellness.
3. FNTP conducts an efficient Functional Clinical Assessment (FCA) and Lingual Neuro Testing (LNT) assessment to identify primary areas of under-function and dysfunction in the body and the appropriate condition-specific nutrients to support healing.
4. FNTP evaluates food journals and make recommendations for beneficial dietary changes, as well as in key lifestyle areas such as stress management, sleep, hygiene, environmental factors, movement, and exercises.
5. Evaluate the Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ) and interpret the information to identify imbalances in the body using an online platform known as ‘Nutri-Q’.
