CVAC
What is cvac?
Cyclic Variations in Adaptive Conditioning is based on the scientific benefits of constant and rapid changes in pressure. During a CVAC session, you sit inside a comfortable pod, and an external vacuum pump adjusts the air pressure inside. This process simulates increases and decreases in altitude - ranging from sea level to over 22,500 feet.

The BEnefits
It is believed that CVAC sessions have many of the same benefits as intense exercise. Both exercise and CVAC sessions challenge the body in order to improve fitness. CVAC does so by changing the air pressure, and as the body naturally adapts to the variations in air pressure, the body is stimulated on a cellular level. When the body is deprived of a sufficient supply of oxygen, it responds by producing a hormone called erythropoietin, which stimulates the production of red blood cells. This helps to increase oxygen absorption, promote muscle recovery, and boost the lymphatic system.
